All models are fully automatic with a variety of control systems, with the two most common by an integral time switch or volumetrically by flow line water meter or tank level switch. In addition, all models can be duplexed to operate in 'duty-standby' mode to permit a continuous soft water supply. There are too many models to attempt to list them here so please contact us to get the specification sheets for a model to suit your current requirements from our range.
All models can be provided with volt free contacts for BMS systems but the volumetric control system manufactured includes volt free contacts for all plant conditions to be remotely monitored. The standard commercial range have treatment capacities from 12.5 Kilograins (2.84 m³ at 20°Clark) to 1,542 Kilograins (77.15 m³ at 20°Clarks') for each vessel - but we often make bigger ones as specials.
The ES2050 is a water softener and filter backwash control system and is part of a wide range of controllers that can be used on any make and type of back-washable water systems and even cooling towers.
The instrument is able to control regeneration (or backwash) cycles based on measured volume of water treated, by water meter or number of tank fills or time in service. It can control single or multiple softeners in standby or parallel modes and an extra regeneration (or backwash) can be initiated at any time without affecting the basic programme.
The control panel has a graphical display to indicate the current plant condition and all of these indicators can be duplicated remotely using volt free contacts within the instrument. In addition to controlling the softener or filter the instrument provides for automatic control of by-pass valves and booster pumps. The ES2050 fully complies with IEC safety standards and is housed in a strong cabinet, IP65 rated, with a transparent hinged door. A panel mounted version, the ES2051, is also available to IP42 rating.
We supply salt saturators for all our standard range of commercial softeners and, where the situation requires, we can supply bulk salt saturators for tanker deliveries on very large installations.
